Hi, I’m Jade.

I’ll help you plant and cultivate the seeds of peace, calm, and connection that you and the children in your life need and deserve.

We no longer have a “village” to help us raise our children, yet you don’t need to do this alone. We are not wired that way. You can let go of trying to get it right or perfect. You can be intentional and empowered, increasing joy in everyday moments and seeing your child thrive as a result.

Whether you want to

  • Build on the strengths and knowledge you already have

  • Break habits and cycles

  • Uplevel your skills and awareness

  • Work through small or big challenges with your child

  • Understand yourself and your child better

  • Invest in a relationship with your child for a lifetime

I am here to support you and to walk with you through the wilderness of parenting, discovering the path that works for you, collecting the tools and resources you need, and falling in love with the journey itself.

No matter the age or stage of your child, it’s never too late or too early to elevate your parenting experience and deepen your connection with yourself and your child.

These are the ways I can support you:

  • 1:1 coaching or consulting sessions where I help parents work through specific challenges or questions.

  • A 12-week parenting course – privately or in a group (this is also great for other family members, childcarers, and teachers).

  • Consulting and support during big changes, new schools, separation, and divorce.

  • Parent education: talks, webinars, and workshops.

  • Homeschooling guidance and support.

  • Space design or consulting for quality play and learning (in homes and in schools).

My approach

In my work with parents, I bring:

  • All that I’ve learned as a parent to a now 20-year-old.

  • My many years as a Waldorf Kindergarten and Primary School Teacher, working with children and families in schools and homeschools.

  • The wealth of knowledge and conscious practices I’ve accumulated as a Parent Coach graduate from the Jai Parenting Institute.

I bring to this work a holistic, heart-centred, and science-based approach that is parent-centric. I believe Parenting can be the most satisfying and healing thing you've ever done, and it can be fun too! Parent-centric means centred in the well-being and awareness of the parent and believing that the change we want to see starts with us. This is parenting from the inside out. It's about waking up, personal growth, ongoing learning, and taking radical accountability. It means breaking generational cycles and grounding in your strengths. It means getting very clear on what kind of parent you want to be for your kids and then taking the steps to make this happen. This is empowered parenting, and I believe this is what changes lives and changes the world.

As your coach, I am committed to non-judgment and to meeting you where you are, exactly where you are, to help you strengthen your strengths and work on the areas you want to improve.

I am not here to fix you. You are not broken. I am your guide, coming prepared with commitment, experience, knowledge, and a map to walk with you step by step. We take the journey together through the pathways of gentle parenting (Authoritative Parenting), also known as peaceful or conscious parenting. This may light your heart up, or maybe you find it triggers or confuses you. Let’s get some clarity below on what these terms mean.

The Gentle Parenting Confusion

Ok, so let’s get clear about the parenting style called Gentle Parenting. Gentle Parenting, also known as Authoritative Parenting, and Conscious or Peaceful Parenting, is easily and widely misunderstood. Peace does mean no conflict, crisis, or chaos, but rather the way in which conflict, crisis, and chaos are handled. Does our parneting style bring us closer to connection, learning, or maturing, or away from it? Do we feel peace in our hearts when we lay our heads down on the pillow at the end of the day?

Here’s what it is and what it isn’t.

What it is:

  • Prioritizing your relationship with your child.

  • Connection before correction.

  • Discipline through teaching and leading by example.

  • Being a loving and safe authority - firm, fair and kind

  • Eliminating or reducing force, fear, shame and punishment.

  • Commitment to non-violence.

  • Boundaries are rooted in values rather than rules.

  • Upholding the dignity of all in the family.

  • Striving to be informed and aware about Child Development.

  • Strengthening and modelling of Emotional intelligence.

  • Research and science-backed methods.

  • Clear and kind communication.

  • Belief in the inherent goodness and willingness of the child.

  • Room for your child's growing autonomy.

  • Room for my child to become who they truly are.

  • Room for you to be who you are.

  • Being gentle with yourself.

  • Empowered parenting

  • Peace in your and your child’s heart at the end of each day.

What it is not:

  • Permissive

  • Passive

  • Authoritarian

  • No boundaries and no No’s

  • No structure

  • No respect

  • Anything goes

  • My child is the boss and centre of our world

  • A quick fix

  • Behaviour modification

  • Guilt and shame as a parent

  • Judging other parents

Gentle Parenting is not for the faint-hearted, it is the harder way. It takes more effort in this day and age, and people will question and challenge you.  It's not the easy way out, and it's not a quick fix. It is a way of being and parenting that requires waking up and doing the work. It’s the opposite of passive; it's fiercely standing up for the wellbeing of yourself, your child and the world. And it does not mean perfect, it means powerfully present!

Jade is our parent coach and we have begun our 12-week course with her on Transformational Parenting. It is the best investment we have made in ourselves as parents, and working with Jade is truly amazing. Her outlook and views are very insightful and helpful in brainstorming our challenges.

I truly believe I was meant to cross paths with Jade and definitely see her around our family for the foreseeable future.

Lara Cunningham (Mother of Two, living in Dubai)

“The most precious inheritance parents can leave their children is their own happiness. Parents’ happiness is the most valuable gift they can give their children. Your children can use those lessons the whole of their lives. You may not be able to leave them money, houses, and land, but you can help them be happy people. If we have happy parents, we have received the richest inheritance of all.”

― Thich Nhat Hanh

Do you need a Parent Coach?

If you identify with one or more of the points below, then you’ve come to the right place!

You want to build on strong foundations:

  • Your relationship with your child (even your adult child), as well as their well-being, is a priority for you.

  • You're a new parent and want to educate and prepare yourself for the journey ahead.

  • You’re a cycle breaker. You were parented in a way that wounded or limited you and you want to make sure you do better with your children. You want to shift the parenting paradigm that you’ve inherited from your parents or culture.

  • There is a big change about to happen and you want to prepare your child, family and yourself.

  • You live apart from your children or have them only part of the time, and you still want to maintain a strong and positive connection and role in their lives.

  • You are a grandparent, and you are invested in deepening your relationship and broadening your skills with our grandchildren.

  • You want to find better or deeper ways to connect with your child or children, whether they are still young children, in their teens, emerging adults, or full-blown adults.

  • You love learning and growing as a person and a parent. Adding to your awareness and your tool kit is just who you are.

You are struggling:

  • You can’t seem to find the joy and ease in your parenting that you know is possible.

  • You are at the end of your tether. “Help!”

  • You are an exhausted, overwhelmed parent who needs someone on your team to support you back to flow, balance, and self-care.

  • The methods you are using are either not working, feel wrong in your heart and body or are driving a wedge between you and your child.

  • You know what you want to change and what to do, but don’t seem able to start or sustain it.

  • You’ve read the books, watched the videos, and followed the accounts, but you need something more to help integrate and apply it all.

  • You are overwhelmed by the mountain of parenting info out there and just want it simplified, distilled into the most important parts, and with useful, practical steps and strategies.

  • You’ve tried all the methods you're reading about, but they aren’t working!

  • You are struggling to navigate certain big issues, dynamics, challenges or changes in your parenting or with your child.

I had the pleasure of working with Jade through a parenting course with the Jai Institute for Parenting, and her coaching has been truly transformational.

Jade is a talented coach and an exceptionally attentive listener. She has an incredible ability to connect with people's unique circumstances - it felt like she truly understood my situation.

Jade's insights are intuitive, and she offers practical strategies that feel both personal and effective. Her guidance has helped me build a more positive and peaceful approach to parenting, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking meaningful growth on this crazy parenting journey we find ourselves on.

Discovery Call

Request a call with me to ask your questions and explore if this is for you, and if so, then how to proceed.

From the Jai Institute of Parenting:

“This is a deeply transformational experience for parents. The specific tools and strategies that we teach are grounded in the foundations of Attachment and Nervous System Science, Brain Science work of Daniel Siegel, Non-Violent Communication, Emotional Intelligence, and the Neuroplasticity work of Dr. Bruce Lipton.”

  • In our first week together, we will get to know one another and co-create our coaching container.

You'll also get a detailed explanation of what to expect from the course and our time together.

  • This week is all about getting clear on your strengths as a parent, how you support yourself through times of stress, and the power of setting intentions.

  • Here you'll learn all about what it means to be an empowered parent.

We will also explore parenting patterns that you experienced as a child, as well as your current parenting patterns, in order to gain understanding and create your new empowered parenting plan.

  • Week 4 is all about gaining an understanding of the importance of attachment.

We'll explore different attachment styles, your generational patterns of connection and how these generational patterns show up in your parenting.

You will learn how to create a secure attachment within yourself, which will allow you to create one with your children.

  • Understanding how the nervous system works is CRUCIAL for managing your triggers!

In week 5, we will explore your parenting triggers as well as tools that will help you to regulate your own nervous system, so that you can help your child do the same.

  • This week we'll learn all about how the brain is structured and how the mind works!

You'll learn how to see beyond your child's behavior and identify their needs, how to be curious rather than judgemental, and how to communicate with empathy and compassion.

  • Having an understanding of how our brain, body and emotions all work together will allow you to gain a whole new perspective on yourself and your parenting!

This week it all comes together with emotional intelligence - or the ability to understand and monitor your feelings and emotions.

  • In week 8, we'll explore your generational patterns and belief system around your voice and expression.

You'll also learn the ten-step process of an empowered conversation and the things that block us from communicating consciously and nonviolently.

  • Here is where it all comes together! We will take everything you've learned so far and combine it into the five-step PEACE Process, which is the essence of empowered parenting.

You will also learn actionable steps for how to set boundaries based on your family values.

  • In this week, you will learn that all emotions are welcome - including ANGER.

You'll look into your past relationship with anger and aggression and gain a new perspective.

You'll learn how to hold space for your child's anger and understand how to move anger through the body in a healthy way.

  • As an early childhood educator, playful parenting is one of my FAVORITE topics!

You will learn about different play languages, benefits of play (for both you and your child), what is preventing you from engaging in your child's play, and the art of storytelling.

You'll also learn the secret to using play in your everyday life in order to make your parenting feel more FUN, avoid power struggles and strengthen your connection with your child.

  • Time to celebrate!  🎉

In our last week together, we will reflect on all of the big and small wins that you've experienced throughout the program.

We will look at your transformation and renew your commitment to continuing on your empowered parenting journey.

. “Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself. They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer’s hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.”
