I love teaching parents, teachers, and caregivers the craft of simple and natural toy making for the children in their lives. It aligns with so much I hold dear, while also bringing together what is often missing in our modern, fast-paced, instant-gratification world:

• Being creative and learning a real, hands-on skill
• Working alongside others — often in a group, which in itself is deeply therapeutic
• A child witnessing or receiving something that was made by hand, with care and love
• The simplicity of the toy, which encourages imagination rather than replacing it
• The use of natural materials that gently nourish the senses
• Stepping away from global consumerism and the endless cycle of mass production and waste

I teach privately or in groups, online or in person when I’m in the UAE or South Africa.
